New Vegas Terminal Manager: Meet Evan Ling

Our Las Vegas Terminal has a new leader at the helm. Evan Ling has been with the company for nearly 11 years, starting as an account manager and now stepping into the terminal manager role. It’s a position he never initially expected but is proud to take on.

Reflecting on his time with Knight, Evan credits the hardworking and dedicated people across the company as his favorite part of the job. As he takes on this new role, he hopes to continue the terminal’s success, working alongside the strong team in the office and the dedicated driving associates based out of Las Vegas.

“I wouldn’t have thought that I’d be the terminal manager here when I first got hired as an account manager,” Evan shared. “That’s a gratifying thing to look back at.” Now, he’s looking ahead with excitement, eager to build on the terminal’s growth and success.

Outside of work, Evan enjoys spending time with his dog, Olive, and visiting family and friends in both Las Vegas and Northern California, where he’s originally from. He finds peace on the northern coast, enjoying the change of scenery whenever he has the chance to visit. Recently, he has taken up golf, an activity he describes as “incredibly frustrating but fun.”

A fan of epic films like Gladiator, Troy, Braveheart, and The Crow, Evan also follows USC football closely, tuning in to a variety of podcasts dedicated to the team. One of his favorite quotes, shared by his grandmother, serves as a daily reminder for him: “To exist is to change, to change is to mature, to mature is to create oneself endlessly.”

With a strong team behind him and a vision for continued success, Evan is ready to lead the Las Vegas terminal into its next chapter. Join us in welcoming him to his new role!
